Several reasons brought about this change:
- The Newsletter will now be accessible to more readers;
- Pages are much faster for me to create;
- Past issues are just a click away; and, best of all...
- Comments can be added by subscribers, making this format more interactive.
Over the month, I'll be working on incorporating elements that were part of the former webpage format, such as the contest, Sponsor information, and other features. Plus, I'll be adding some new ones.
Stayed tuned!

I have really enjoyed reading your Newsletter. Every Mother's Day weekend, my wife and I go to Mackinac Island for a week and have gotten the same rate for our Hotel for the last 20 years. I used to travel around all over Michigan and played guitar as a one man band. ie Holiday Inn in Gaylord when the Oil Well blew up in Waters, MI and Red Adair from Texas came into the lounge each night with his crew; videotaped one ship going to the Sault Locks in 1972 only to find out years later that it was the Edmund Fitsgerald! Sang in St. Igtnace, and got to ride on the Cheif Wawatum - the last steamship to take the trains from North Peninsula to S<outh Peninsula.
ReplyDeleteI love Michigan, the seasons, the people and will never live elsewhere. Only visit.
