An interesting note to the KEENER is the fact that the 6 records (#1,2,4,5,9,13) were recorded in Detroit. The Association's "Cherish" was recorded at Golden World Records studio on Davison (later to become Motown Studio B) and the group was turned down by Ed Wingate. Sound Records was out in Newhaven, MI and did primarily polka records till a few hits brought them into the big time. The Motown labels (Motown, Gordy, Soul ect.) need no explanation.
